This is nice deal if you find any merchants that interest you. Some offers require you to purchase a certain number of gift cards, without a dollar amount requirement. In those cases look for the smallest denominations. If you’re making the trip on a weekend, they also have a promotion for double fuel points on groceries.

Make sure you use a credit card that earns most points at supermarkets and grocery stores to get as much as 6% back. This quarter you can also use a Discover it or Chase Freedom card  to earn 5% at grocery stores.

Also this could get you free cell service. For every 100 fuel points you get a dollar cell service credit when you use Kroger’s phone service.
