Investors Bank has extended a $250 bonus for new checking accounts. You need to go into a branch, which are located in New Jersey and New York.
Bonus Requirements
Here’s how to get this bonus:
- Open a new YourStyle Checking Account
- Get $25 per month for 10 months with
- An ACH deposit to your account of $500 or more during your statement cycle; OR
- 10 Point-of-Sale (POS) transactions during your statement cycle, using your YourStyle Visa Debit Card
Reward payments will cease at the earlier of reaching $250 total or 11 consecutive cycles from the date you opened your account.

Offer not available to any account owner with an existing personal checking account.
Must open in branch and branched are located only in NY and NJ.
Fees
The account has a fee, but I’m not sure how much. However, it can be waived with one of the following options:
- Direct deposit of $500 or more each statement cycle,
- Monthly average balance of at least $1,000
- 10 point-of-sale transactions with your Visa® Debit Card
Guru’s Wrap-Up
This is a decent bonus but it will take 10 month for you to get the full $250. I’m not sure if ACHs will count as a direct deposit so to be safe you might want to just do the 10 debit transactions each month to get the $25. You can maybe test out one month with a ACH, since you can miss a month and still get the total $250 within 11 months. Each of these activities will also waive the fee on the account.
