IHG Targeted Promo: Earn Double Elite Night Credits
IHG One Rewards has launched another targeted promotion that can help select members reach elite status and Milestone Rewards faster.
Eligible members who register can earn one Bonus Elite Night Credit for every qualifying night stayed between August 5 and September 29, 2026, effectively making each eligible night count twice. The promotion is capped at five Bonus Elite Night Credits. Let’s see the details.
Offer Details
After registering for the targeted offer:
- Earn 1 Bonus Elite Night Credit for each qualifying night
- Earn up to 5 Bonus Elite Night Credits
- Eligible stay period: August 5 through September 29, 2026
- Bonus nights count toward 2026 IHG elite status
- Bonus nights also count toward IHG Milestone Rewards
- Registration is required before completing the qualifying stay

What Stays Qualify?
A qualifying stay must be at least one night and booked under an eligible rate, with spending exceeding $30 per night, or the local-currency equivalent.
Most participating IHG Hotels & Resorts qualify, although certain Six Senses and Iberostar Beachfront Resorts that do not participate in IHG One Rewards are excluded.
Reward Nights and Points & Cash bookings do not qualify for the bonus elite-night credits. Reservations booked through third-party sites such as Expedia or Booking.com are also excluded.
If you book multiple rooms for the same night, only one room can earn credit toward the promotion.

This is a useful targeted promotion for anyone who already has IHG stays planned over the next several weeks. Five qualifying paid nights can effectively turn into 10 elite-night credits, putting you closer to the next status tier or Milestone Reward.
The five-night cap is lower than some similar IHG offers we’ve seen, but there isn’t much downside to registering if you’re eligible. Just remember that award stays and Points & Cash reservations won’t trigger the extra nights, and you need to register before completing your qualifying stay.
