Hilton Honors members can get a vacation in Hawaii, New York, Las Vegas or Orlando and 50,000 bonus points starting at just $199. The offer was sent by email, probably to all members. The points offer is twice as good as in the past, and worth close to the price you are paying. There’s a small catch however, a timeshare presentation.
Guests must purchase one of the following packages by by August 31, 2019:
- 4-day/3-night stay for $199 plus tax in Orlando
- 4-day/3-night stay for $199 plus tax in Las Vegas, Nevada
- 3-day/2-night stay for $299 plus tax in New York City, New York
- 6-day/5-night stay for $699 plus tax in Honolulu or Waikoloa, Hawaii
at a participating hotel within the Hilton portfolio of brands (valued at $175-$500/night).
Guests will receive 50,000 Hilton Honors Bonus Points if package is purchased by August 31, 2019. You have up to 12 months from purchase date to travel. Travel can begin 30 days after purchase of vacation package. As part of your vacation package, you’ll attend a two-hour personal preview and sales presentation of Hilton Grand Vacations, where you’ll learn how you and your family can enjoy the many benefits and privileges of vacation ownership with Hilton Grand Vacations.
The offer itself is pretty good. But that vacation comes with a mandatory sales pitch for Hilton Grand Vacations. You have to sit through that for two hours. They can’t force you to buy anything, but again not everyone can say “no” over and over. And they make those deals sound pretty good. So if that’s something you’re not comfortable with, might be best to skip it. But if you’ve done this before, or are confident that you will resist the temptation, then could be a good opportunity. Usually this offer is for 25,000 points and is now doubled.
