Hilton Status Match Is Back for 2026
If you currently have elite status with another hotel chain like Marriott, Hyatt, or IHG, Hilton wants to win your business. Hilton Honors has officially opened its Status Match program for 2026, offering a shortcut to Gold or Diamond status that can last for over two years. Hilton has also made it easier to extend your status through March of 2026, buy requiring fewer nights.

- Match to Gold: Stay 6 nights within your 90-day trial period to keep Gold through March 31, 2028.
- Upgrade to Diamond: Stay 12 nights within your 90-day trial period to upgrade to Diamond status through March 31, 2028.
Request Status Match
First you must be a Hilton Honors Member to request Status Match. After logging in, select your current elite status with another hotel loyalty program from the list below.
Then upload proof of your current elite status and proof of a recent stay.

- Acceptable forms of status validation include a screenshot of your current and active account status. Acceptable forms of stay validation include a screenshot of your recent reservations or hotel receipt, redacting any personal information other than your name and membership number. We accept .jpg files only. Please do NOT send us any personal information (including your phone number, address, social security number, date of birth, username, passwords, or credit card information). Only elite statuses from another hotel loyalty program that are listed in the status dropdown menu are eligible for status matching.
- Hilton reserves the right to decline any application at any time for any reason. Please allow 5-7 business days for Hilton Honors to process your request. Hilton may require additional validation in its complete discretion which may take an additional 5-7 business days. The 90-day status match trial period starts once approved. Members are eligible to participate in the Hilton Honors B2B Status Match once per year. Members who already have Hilton Honors Diamond status are not eligible for this offer. Reward stays do not count toward achieving the status match requirements.
