If you’re staying at any Hilton properties this summer, this should be good news. Starting next month there’s a new Hilton Double Points offer. That means that besides the 10 base points that you normally earn, you’ll also get 10 bonus points for every dollar spent. Silver, Gold and Diamond Honors members will also earn their elite bonus points on top of that, but those will not be doubled. Keep in mind that Home2 Suite and Tru by Hilton stays only earn 5 base points and 5 bonus points.
Hilton Double Points Offer
To take advantage of this Double Points offer, you need to first sign up. Then you can earn double points on every stay from May 1 – August 31, 2018. There’s no cap on the number points you can earn with this offer and there’s no minimum stay requirement. It also doesn’t matter when you check in or out. You will receive Bonus Points for nights completed during the Promotion Period. The offer is valid at any hotel or resort within the Hilton Portfolio excluding Hampton by Hilton Hotels in Mainland China.

- Registered Hilton Honors members will only receive Bonus Points for nights completed during the Promotion Period, regardless of a check-in date before the Promotion Period begins or a check-out date after the Promotion Period ends.
- Bonus Points do not count toward elite tier qualification.
- Please allow six to eight weeks from completion of your stay for Bonus Points to appear in your account.

Earning extra points for your expenses is always nice. But, this promotion will probably not sway many people to change their travel plans. I would suggest registering now so you don’t forget, if there’s a chance that you might stay at a Hilton property this summer. You can earn even more Hilton points if you have an Amex Hilton card.
