Hilton Cards, Earn Extra Base Points with New Amex Offer
American Express has some new targeted Amex Offers for Hilton Cards. The offer is showing up for Amex Hilton Aspire, Hilton Surpass or the No-Fee Amex Hilton card. Here’s what the offer looks like:
- Earn 1,000 base points each time you spend $1,000, up to 30,000 points. This is in addition to the points that you already earn with your card. Valid until 12/18/2020.
Offer Terms
- Available in-store and online.
- Points will post within 12 weeks following the end of the billing cycle in which they were earned
- Eligible purchases do NOT include fees or interest charges, cash advances, purchases of traveler’s checks, purchases or reloading of prepaid cards, purchases of gift cards, person-to-person payments, or purchases of any cash equivalents.
Guru’s Wrap-up
Hilton points are not very valuable, so earning one extra point is not huge. But base points count towards lifetime status if that’s something you are going for. But if you are already putting spend on bonus categories for the Hilton Aspire or Hilton Surpass cards or working towards free night certificates, then extra points are always a good thing.
