Groupon’s Spanish website has a promotion for discounted Iberia Avios. You can buy them for as little as 1.09 cents each. Here’s all the options they have:
- 2,000 Avios for €19
- 4,000 Avios for €59
- 8,000 Avios for €99
- 15,000 Avios for €189
- 20,000 Avios for €249
- 35,000 Avios for €439
The cheapest option is the 2,000 Avios at 1.09 cents each when converted to dollars. Price goes up gradually from there, up to 1.44 cents for the 35,00 option.
You can do even better that that though. The Iberia shopping portal is offering 13x Avios per euro spend for these Groupon deals. When added to the discount, you shoudl end up getting Avios for less than a cent each.

That’s a pretty good price for purchasing Avios. It is a bit of a hassle if you don’t speak Spanish, but you can use google translator if you have no clue at all. make sure you use a credit card with no foreign transaction fees.
It could come in handy if you need more Avios to go along the points that you earned through that lucrative Iberia promotion. You need to use up those Avios by December 1st.
