Stop&Shop/Giant/Martin’s: 3X Fuel Points for Mastercard Gift Cards
Stop&Shop, Giant and Martin’s supermarkets have a promotion starting today could get you cheap or free gas, or discounts on grocery purchases. Starting next week, you can earn extra gas rewards when you purchase Mastercard gift cards. It gets even better if you use one of the best credit cards for grocery purchases, that can earn you up to 6X back in rewards.

- Earn 3x fuel points when you purchase any Mastercard gift cards. Offer is valid in-store only between May 28 and June 3, 2021.

- Offer redeemed when you present your Card at checkout and will be applied to your grocery order before taxes and after all other coupons and savings are applied.
- Valid 5/28 – 6/3/2021.
Using Fuel Points
For every 100 points are worth $0.10 off per gallon on your fill up of up to 20 gallons, or 30 gallons in some states. The more you can pump in one transaction, the better the deal gets. If you buy more than one gift card, you’ll obviously get more points. But you can only redeem up to 1500 points per transaction at some locations, which is $1.50 off per gallon. Some places you can use even more, up to free gas. Points can be redeemed at gas stations at these supermarkets, or participating Shell locations which can be found here.

A good deal for savings on gas, all while also earning cashback with one of the best cards for grocery purchases. Now you have even more option, as many issuers have improved earning on groceries. You can even use Mastercard of Visa gift cards that you might have purchased recently, depending on your location. But you would be losing out on credit card rewards.
Keep in mind that recently, some locations have introduced new restrictions. You will only earn points on the first Mastercard gift card purchase during the promotion period. So make sure to maximize it with a $2,000 purchase if your location has those limits. If you’re not sure, you can try a $500 purchase after that to see if you still earn points.
