It’s Teacher Appreciation Day today on May 7th, and also Teacher Appreciation Week, all week long. And what better way to appreciate them, than with free food or food discounts. Teachers works hard all year long and are often underappreciated. So if you or someone you know is a teacher, thank them, and then get them a nice discounted meal.
Let’s check out the deals going on at many dinning establishments nationwide.
- Applebee’s – Every day in May, Applebee’s is offering $1 margaritas through May 31.
- Arby’s – Some locations are giving teachers and school administrators with ID a free sandwich Tuesday.
- Bruegger’s Bagels – The bagel restaurant is giving all teachers a free medium drip or iced coffee with any purchase and valid ID Monday through Friday.
- Buffalo Wild Wings – All teachers, faculty, and staff will get 20% off when they dine-in during Teacher Appreciation Week. Valid May 6-10.
- Cheddar’s Scratch Kitchen – From Monday through Friday, teachers dining in can get a free appetizer with the purchase of an adult entree. No coupon is needed.
- Chick-fil-A – There’s not a nationwide promotion but select locations are offering teachers a deal Tuesday and some locations are celebrating for a week. Either call your closest location or search individual restaurant’s Facebook page.
- Chipotle – The burrito purveyor is celebrating educators again this year with its annual Teacher Appreciation Day buy-one-get-one free deal. Teachers of all levels, with a valid school ID who buy a burrito, burrito bowl, order of tacos, or salad will get another one for free once school’s out for the day on May 7th.
- Cicis Pizza – Teachers with a valid ID and this coupon get a free adult buffet on May 7th.
- Dairy Queen – Take $2 off any mobile app purchase of at least $10 from May 6-12.
- Duffy’s Sports Grill – Teachers get a $10 MVP Bonus loaded directly onto their MVP accounts during Teachers Appreciation Week Monday through Friday when they show their faculty ID badge. Sign up for the MVP program at www.duffysmvp.com/mvp.
- Grimaldi’s Pizzeria – Teachers in all 42 markets with a restaurant get 15% off their order. Valid May 6-10.
- McAlister’s Deli – Teachers can flash a school ID to get hooked up with a free sweet tea all week long, from May 6th to the 10th.
- McDonald’s – Free chicken McNuggets meal to teachers with a valid ID. Might not be nationwide.
- Noodles & Company – For every $25 gift card purchased, you’ll get a free $5 gift card. The cards can be purchased in-store or online. Valid April 24 – June 30.
- Potbelly Sandwich Shop – All teachers get a buy-one-get-one offer Monday through Sunday, May 12.
- Snuffer’s – Teachers get a free appetizer with the purchase of an entrée when dining in. Though, the free appetizer has to be $6.79 or less and can’t be Cheddar Fries.
- Sonic – The fast-food chain is giving teachers and “everyone who appreciates them” a free Route 44 Drink or Slush when you order ahead through the Sonic app with the code “TEACHERS.” Valid May 7-31.
- The Greene Turtle – Teachers get a free $14 meal Tuesday with a valid school ID. Dine-in only.
- Uberrito – Teachers, faculty, and staff with an ID can pick up a free burrito, bowl, or salad. You can only get the deal in-store on May 7th.
- Ziggi’s Coffee – Educators can pick up a free 16-ounce coffee as a thank you for everything you do. The offer is valid at all Ziggi’s locations on May 8th.
