FNBO TravElite Card Will be Converted to Visa, Use $100 Travel Credit Now

First National Bank of Omaha TravElite American Express cardholders have received notices today that their cards will be converted to Visa cards in April.

Under the new “Complete Reward Program”, this card will earn a flat rate of 1.5X points per dollar spent after 4/25/21. The card will have the standard Visa Signature benefits as well. Points will be worth one cent each.

This means that cardholders will no longer have access to Amex Offers for third party cards. Another thing to keep in mind is that the $100 travel credit will also go away based on this comment at Doctor of Credit. Based on information received over the phone, conversions would actually start on April 23rd, so make sure that your 2021 travel credits are used and post before that date.
