Update: This deal is available again from 8/1/21 through 1/31/22.

HSBC currently has two big bonuses for new customers with possible bonuses of up to $600 or $450. But if you already have an account, there’s also an opportunity to earn up to $180 for paying your bills from your HSBC account and using your debit card for monthly purchases.

Offer

Starting 8/1/2021 you can earn up to $180 over the next six consecutive calendar months by simply using HSBC for your everyday banking. Offer ends 1/31/2022. Here’s how it works:

  • Use your eligible HSBC Mastercard at least 10 times a month to make purchases and earn $15 per month
  • Pay 3 bills a month using HSBC’s Bill pay and earn $15 per month

Offer Terms

  • Offer will be credited to your HSBC account approximately eight weeks after meeting that month’s qualifying activities.
  • This Promotion is non-transferrable and is only available to the recipient of this invitation.
  • This Promotion includes two Offers, each requiring qualifying activities and is available from the first full calendar month after the date you receive this invitation and is valid for 6 consecutive calendar months (“Promotional Period”).

Guru’s Wrap-up

This is a targeted promotion that we have seen in the past. Check your HSBC accounts to see if you are targeted. You can earn $30 per month starting in November and through April of next year. All you need to do is pay several bills from your HSBC account and use your linked debit card to make purchases. Let me know if you are targeted for this offer.
