New Escape Lounge Coming to Philadelphia Airport Later This Year

Escape Lounge Opening at Philadelphia International Airport

Philadelphia International Airport will soon have another lounge option with the addition of an Escape Lounge in Terminal D. The new lounge is expected to open later this year, possibly in August.

This is a small lounge in a 1,500-square-foot space and seating for around 50 guests.  It will feature a full bar, complimentary food and drinks, Wi-Fi, charging stations, and runway views.

Unlike airline-specific lounges, Escape Lounges are open to all travelers. Prices are normally between $45 and $65 per person for walk-ups, but customers can also pre-book online to get reduced rates starting at $32. Complimentary access is available for American Express cardholders.

Guru’s Wrap-up

This is a nice addition for travelers passing through Philadelphia. It’s likely nothing special, but it could be useful for those without access to airline lounges. If you carry an eligible Amex Platinum or Centurion Card, you’ll have another complimentary lounge option once it opens.
