Get Free Annual Equinox+ Membership with Amex Platinum Card
As it was previously announced, American Express changed the Equinox credit for Amex Platinum cardholders for 2023. You now get up to $300 in statement credits each year when you pay for Equinox+, the digital fitness app with live and on-demand classes, or any Equinox club membership with your Platinum Card.
Previously you would get a total of $300 annually, but in the form of $25 monthly credits. That made the credit pretty useless. Now you can at least get the Equinox+ annual membership for free, as it costs $300 exactly. You will have to pay taxes. Make sure you enroll for this benefit by visiting https://platinum.equinox.com/.
Then you need to:
- Create an Equinox or Equinox+ membership or sign into your existing account.
- Enter the Basic Platinum Card as the payment method for your selected Equinox membership. For new and existing Equinox members, payment method may be updated to an Additional Card after enrollment in the benefit. For new Equinox members, the payment method may be updated to an Additional Card after the initial Equinox membership charge.
- The Card Account will receive up to a total of $300 back in statement credits per calendar year when the Basic or Additional Card Members on the Account pay for an Equinox membership with their Card.
- Statement credits are typically received within a few days but may take up to 6-8 weeks after the membership fee is charged to your Account.
I can’t make the math work. $40 x 12 = $480. Where do you get free from?
They have two options. Either $39.99 per month, or $300 per year, which I think it’s an option for Platinum cardholders only.
Where do you see that the annual price is $300? The only pricing info that I’ve been able to find is $39.99/month.
After you enter your Amex Platinum card number, you will see the following options: https://dannydealguru.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/01/Equinox-by-Equinox-Join-Equinox-.png
