Earn 1.5X Aeroplan Points on Hyatt Stays
World of Hyatt and Aeroplan have launched a new promo that lets linked members earn Aeroplan points on top of their normal Hyatt points.

For a limited time, linked members can register by November 11, 2026, to earn 1.5 Aeroplan points per $1 USD spent on qualifying Hyatt stays completed by February 14, 2027.
That’s on top of the standard 5 Hyatt points per $1 at most participating Hyatt hotels. Hyatt Studios earns 2.5 base points per $1 instead. See promotion page here.
So for example if you spend $1,000 on an eligible Hyatt stay, you would earn:
- 5,000 World of Hyatt points
- 1,500 Aeroplan points
And that’s before Hyatt elite bonus or credit card earnings.
Important Terms
- You must be a World of Hyatt member, an Aeroplan member, have linked your World of Hyatt Program and Aeroplan accounts, and register for the promotion between October 14, 2026 and November 11, 2026 to participate.
- Promotion valid on stays at participating Hyatt hotels and resorts worldwide completed after registration and between October 14, 2026 and February 14, 2027 (“Promotion Period”).
- All stays must be completed within the Promotion Period to be eligible for this promotion.
- Beginning on your first stay after registration and during the Promotion Period, you can earn one and a half (1.5) bonus Aeroplan Points for every eligible U.S. Dollar spent on an Eligible Rate (as defined in the World of Hyatt program terms) at participating Hyatt hotels and resorts worldwide for stays completed during the Promotion Period.
- Bonus Aeroplan points can only be earned under this promotion where the member has elected to earn points in the World of Hyatt program or Aeroplan points in lieu of World of Hyatt points for a stay (and not where the member elected to earn any other partner loyalty points besides Aeroplan in lieu of earning World of Hyatt points).
- Only the room occupied by the member will count toward this promotion. You must provide your World of Hyatt membership number at the time of booking or on property (if available) prior to check out for your stay to be eligible.
- Please allow up to 8 weeks after your stay is completed to receive the bonus Aeroplan points.
Guru’s Wrap-Up
This is a nice little double dip if you have Hyatt stays coming up.
You’re keeping your normal Hyatt points and picking up another 1.5 Aeroplan points per dollar, so there’s really no downside if your accounts are already linked.
Just make sure to register before November 11 and do it before your stay starts.
