Details Leaked for New Bilt Blue, Obsidian and Palladium Cards
Details of the new Bilt cards have been leaked, although the official announcement is scheduled for January 14. The card names are Blue, Obsidian, and Palladium. The design for the Obsidian card has also leaked. The information was posted on reddit but has been taken down. Applicants for the Obsidian and Palladium card have the opportunity to receive a “Limited edition mirror card design”.
The Bilt and Obsidian cards only have $100 Bilt Cash and $200 Bilt Cash as a bonus upon approval, while the Palladium card has 50,000 Bilt Points and $300 Bilt Cash. With all three cards you can use Bilt Cash to waive rent and mortgage transaction fees. Besides the sign up bonus, you can earn 4% Bilt Cash on everyday spend. I would assume that $1 Bilt Cash will cover $1 in rent and mortgage transaction fees. That seems a bit confusing, but from some quick calculations it doesn’t look good.
Update: There are also two other sets of cards Bilt Home, Bilt Everyday and Bilt Neighborhood, as well as Bilt Home, Bilt Titanium and Bilt Platinum. Details on those cards are a bit different. See comments.

Bilt Cash earned during 2026 will expire at the end of the year, except that up to $100 of Bilt Cash will roll over to the following year.
Guru’s Wrap-up
From some quick math, this doesn’t look good. First, only the $495 Bilt Palladium Card comes with a bonus of Bilt Points while the other two cards only get Bilt Cash. That cash has value as you can use it to waive rent and mortgage transaction fees. But going forward you will have to put spend on the cards to earn 4% Bilt Cash in order to waive fees.
Bilt has also introduced goPuff as a redemption option, but you only get a value of 0.7 cents per point which is not great.
Let me know what you think!
