CLEAR membership Price Goes Up to $189
As previously announced, the annual fee for the CLEAR airport membership has gone up today. The price was increased by $10 from $179 to $189. This is the first price hike for CLEAR since it first launched over 10 years ago.
A CLEAR Plus membership offers exclusive CLEAR access at airport security, along with all other CLEAR locations. CLEAR Plus members can also add up to 3 adult family members to their account at a discounted rate. Children under 18 don’t need to enroll and can tag along for free with a CLEAR member. At sports stadiums, members may bring one guest with them through the CLEAR Lane.
Two popular cards that offer a CLEAR Plus membership credit, have now upped the offer by $10 to match this price increase. The Amex Platinum and Amex Business Platinum cards now offer up to $189 back per year on your membership when you use your Card.
Pricing for Delta and United members has not changed. Delta SkyMiles members can pay just $119 for an annual membership. If you have a Delta SkyMiles credit card, then you just $109. There are also two other promotions. CLEAR is offering a new Couples Package with an annual price for two travelers down to $239, total. Then there’s a promotion that gets you a $75 Uber credit when you sign up, which you can stack with the credit you get from Amex Platinum cards.
