Citi sent out emails today and last night, informing cardmembers of upcoming changes to the ThankYou® Rewards Program. Effective 07‍/27‍/‍2025, the redemption value for points transferred from a ThankYou Rewards account to four Travel Loyalty Partners will change.

For Citi Strata Premier, Citi Prestige® and Citi AT&T Access More Card holders, the transfer ratio to Emirates Skywards Miles is going down. For Citi ThankYou® Preferred, Citi Rewards+®, Sears Mastercard, Citi Double Cash®, AT&T Universal Rewards World, AT&T Universal Savings and Rewards, AT&T Universal Rewards, AT&T Points PlusSM Card from Citi or AT&T Access Card holders, three transfer ratios are getting worse.

Citi Strata Premier, Citi Prestige® and Citi AT&T Access More

  • Current Redemption Value for Points Transfers: 1,000 ThankYou Rewards Points are transferable for 1,000 Emirates Skywards Miles
  • New Redemption Value for Points Transfers, effective 07/27: 1,000 ThankYou Rewards Points are transferable for 800 Emirates Skywards MilesYou may redeem ThankYou Points at the current redemption values through 07/27. After that, the new redemption values will apply.

Other Cards

If you have a Citi ThankYou® Preferred, Citi Rewards+®, Sears Mastercard, Citi Double Cash®, AT&T Universal Rewards World, AT&T Universal Savings and Rewards, AT&T Universal Rewards, AT&T Points PlusSM Card from Citi or AT&T Access Card, then effective 07‍/27, you will see the following changes:

  • JetBlue TrueBlue Points: From 1:0.8, to 1:0.7 transfer ratio
  • Choice Privileges® Points: From 1:1.5, to 1:1.4 transfer ratio
  • Wyndham Rewards: From 1:0.8, to 1:0.7 transfer ratio
