Citi Bike is offering free rides today, Monday April 22nd, in celebration of Earth Day. Riders can get their free day pass by downloading the Citi Bike app Monday, selecting a Day Pass, and entering the promo code EARTHDAY19. The code will provide 24 hours of unlimited 30-minute rides. Citi Bike has been offering the deal for a few years now on April 22nd.
Annual membership for Citi Bike costs $169 for 365 days of unlimited, 45-minute rides. One- and three-day passes provide unlimited 30-minute trips for $12 and $24, respectively. Citi Bike serves New York City boroughs of Manhattan, Queens, and Brooklyn, as well as Jersey City, New Jersey.
