Last month, Chase started limiting bonuses for all Sapphire cards to one per 48 months, up from 24 months. However there was still a loophole through referral links which were showing the old 24 month language. Now that loophole has been closed as well, and all applications are showing the new 48 month restriction.
Here’s what it reads in the new terms:
The product is not available to either (i) current cardmembers of any Sapphire credit card, or (ii) previous cardmembers of any Sapphire credit card who received a new cardmember bonus within the last 48 months.
