Chase Travel Promo for Sapphire Cardholders
Chase is targeting many Sapphire Reserve and Sapphire Preferred cardholders with an offer to get more value out of their points when they redeem through Chase Travel. Sapphire Reserve cardholders can get a value of 2.25 cents per point and Sapphire Preferred cardholders can get 2 cents per point. That makes this a good opportunity to get good value for your Chase Ultimate Rewards points while booking through Chase Travel.
How to Find This Offer
This offer is showing up when you search for flights or hotels at Chase Travel. In the search results you will see a “Points offer” and when you click the information icon it will show you the details of the offer. You can also use the toggle switch to only show results that are eligible for the points offer.

How it Works
In order to take advantage of this promotion, you need to be targeted and see this offer in Chase Travel while logged in.
If you are eligible, you need to book your flights or hotel stays by June 15, 2025. Travel must be completed by December 31, 2026, which gives you plenty of time.
The actual value that you will get for your points might vary from one account to the other. But it will be better than the normal redemption value of 1.5cpp for Sapphire Reserve and 1.25cpp for Sapphire Preferred. The best offer will get you 2.25cpp for Sapphire Reserve and 2cpp for Sapphire Preferred.

Chase Sapphire Reserve
From 3/31/2025 – 6/15/2025, each point you redeem through Chase Travel for stays at eligible hotels/flights completed by 12/31/2026 is worth $0.0225, which means that 100 points equals $2.25 in redemption value.
So if you are targeted and redeem for $1,800 of eligible travel and pay with points, you would use 80,000 Ultimate Rewards points during this promotion. If you choose to use points and your credit card to pay for your purchase, your credit card will be charged the full remaining dollar amount.

Chase Sapphire Preferred
From 3/31/2025 – 6/15/2025, each point you redeem through Chase Travel for stays at eligible hotels/flights completed by 12/31/2026 is worth $0.02, which means that 100 points equals $2 in redemption value.
So if you are targeted and redeem for $1,800 of eligible travel and pay with points, you would use 90,000 Ultimate Rewards points during this promotion. If you choose to use points and your credit card to pay for your purchase, your credit card will be charged the full remaining dollar amount.
Guru’s Wrap-up
This is a rare promotion that could be useful for booking hotels that you can’t normally book with points. You can also book stays at popular chains but you would be missing missing out on several perks and benefits that are typically available when booking direct. Specifically, you lose the ability to earn hotel loyalty points, elite night credits, and access elite member benefits.
I was targeted with the 2cpp offer on my Chase Sapphire Preferred card. I used the promotion to book a stay at Marquis Los Cabos later this year.
