Chase Slate Card Offers 0% Intro APR for 21 Months

Chase has brought back the Chase Slate® Credit Card. This card was discontinued about five years ago and was then later replaced with Chase Slate Edge.

Now the Chase Slate card is back again and it looks like it’s a rebrand of the Chase Slate Edge. The Chase Slate card offers a 0% intro APR for 21 months, which is one of the longest periods available on the market.

That’s also an improvement from Chase Slate Edge which offered 0% intro APR for 18 months.

A balance transfer card can be a good tool for those struggling with credit card debt, or even those who want to float large purchases for almost two years. It gives you some breathing room before you start accruing interest again, or it lets you earn interest for 21 months before having to pay it. The latter part is only valuable if you get a high credit limit.

Just keep in mind that there’s a balance transfer fee is of $5 or 5% of the amount of each transfer, whichever is greater. Also when When this promo period ends, a variable APR of 18.24% to 28.24% will apply.
