Chase Sapphire Preferred, 60K Bonus Offer (Targeted By Email)

Chase has sent out some targeted offers by email with a new increased bonus for the Chase Sapphire Preferred credit card. Email is titled “Exclusive: Earn 60,000 Bonus points”. These offers don’t bypass the 5/24 restriction, but it could be possible to still get the card if you were targeted and are over 5/24.

Chase Sapphire Preferred, 60K Bonus

Chase Sapphire Preferred 60K Offer

Earn 60,000 Bonus Points after you spend $4,000 on purchases in the first 3 months from account opening. That’s $750 in Travel Rewards when redeemed through Chase Ultimate Rewards.

Plus earn 5,000 Bonus Points after you add the first authorized user and make a purchase in the first 3 months from account opening.

5/24 Rule

Chase won’t approve you for some cards if you’ve applied for more than five new cards in the last two years and the Chase Sapphire Preferred card falls under that 5/24 rule. These targeted offers sent by mail or email, do not bypass the 5/24 rule, so even if you did receive the offer, you need to be under 5/24.

If you were targeted, but over 5/24, then there might be a way to qualify. Those who have received this offer, are also able to see the same exact offer when checking their Chase accounts for “Selected For You” offers. These pre-approved offers do bypass the 5/24 rule.

Guru’s Wrap-Up

This offer is better than the current public offer that has a and also comes with the 5K authorized user bonus as well. To qualify for the 60K offer you must have received an email directly, but also check your chase account to see if you have any “Selected For You” offers. We haven’t seen an increased offer on the Chase Sapphire Preferred card in a while, so if you are eligible, I would suggest applying.
