Chase Adding Fourth Airport Lounge in San Diego

Update (Nov.18, 2021) Chase is preparing to bring a fourth airport lounge at San Diego International (SAN). In early November, Airport Dimensions (in partnership with Chase) was awarded the contract to build out an 11,000-square-foot lounge in San Diego’s Terminal 2 West, TPG reports. The information comes from public board meeting documents where some rendering of the new lounge are also included..

The Chase Sapphire Lounge by The Club could welcome guests in November 2023. It will feature “locally inspired design, local food, beverages and art partnerships.” Airport Dimensions and Chase get a 10 year lease for the lounge location. The new San Diego Chase Sapphire lounge will be located on the mezzanine level, between Gates 46 and 47.

Two More Chase Sapphire Lounge Locations Announced

Chase has officially unveiled today three locations that will eventually feature Chase’s new lounge network. These will be known as Chase Sapphire Lounge by The Club. I already wrote about the lounge at Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) Terminal B to C Connector, and there are also some images available already. The other two new lounges will be located at New York’s LaGuardia Airport (LGA) in the brand new Terminal B, and later this year, a first international location in Hong Kong International Airport (HKG) Terminal 1.

Opening dates and additional lounge details will be announced over time, and the pipeline of destinations will continue to grow to include new locations at select major airports.

The Chase Sapphire Lounge by The Club will be developed in collaboration with industry leaders in airport lounges, Airport Dimensions. The lounge experience and design for each location will draw inspiration from its host city, and will provide access to exceptional food, drink, art, entertainment, and wellness.

When Chase Sapphire Lounge by The Club locations open, lounges will be available to Chase Sapphire Reserve cardmembers, as well as Members of Priority Pass. Sapphire Reserve cardmembers will also continue to enjoy Priority Pass Select membership, enabling them access to a global network of 1,300+ lounges, in addition to the new Chase Sapphire Lounge by the Club.
