Chase Adds New-ish Anti-Abuse Language to Some Chase Offers

Chase Adds ‘Abuse of Offers’ Warning to Chase Offers Terms

Chase has quietly updated the terms of some Chase Offers with a new warning aimed at discouraging abuse. The additional language states:

“Abuse of offers may result in exclusion from future offers.”

The new language has started appearing on select Chase Offers, as shown in this recent Air Canada offer, as first reported by Frequent Miler:

Chase doesn’t define what constitutes “abuse,” so I guess we’ll find out in the near future.

We had first seen this language years ago, But I don’t think I have seen it on many offers since then. Or maybe I just have not been paying attention.

Guru’s Wrap-up

Chase lets you add Chase Offers to multiple credit cards, so you can take advantage of the same offer multiple times. I doubt that would be considered abuse.

We’ll see to jut wait and see how strict Chase will be with enforcing this new language.
