Aeroplan Card Adds Dining and Grocery Stores to PYB Categories
Chase Aeroplan cardholders can redeem Aeroplan points for a statement credit using Pay Yourself Back (PYB). Until now you redeem Aeroplan points for travel purchases and to cover the card’s annual fee.
Now two popular categories have been added, Dining and Grocery Stores. However, the redemption rate is not nearly as good.
Chase Aeroplan Card PYB Categories
Here is the value you get when redeeming Aeroplan Points on eligible PYB categories:
- Travel: 1.25 cents per point
- Annual Fee: 1.25 cents per point
- Dining: 0.8 cents per point
- Grocery Stores: 0.8 cents per point
Aeroplan points may be redeemed for a statement credit using Pay Yourself Back for purchases made with your Chase Aeroplan Card within 90 days from the redemption date. The travel category has an end date of December 31, 2024 for now.
