Just like last year, Amazon is once again offering some great deals when using “Pay with Points” to purchase prime-exclusive deals. These “Pay with Points” promotions offer a discount as a percentage, and this is being applied to the original price, before the Prime Day discount.
Here’s an example with this Amazon Echo Show 5. Regular price is $89.99 and it is now on sale for $49.99. When I use my offer to save 40% with Amex points, I get 40% off the original price for $89.99. That gives me $36 off $49.99, and a final price of just $13.99.
The bigger the Prime Day discount, the better it gets when using Shop with Points. You can even grab some free items.
