Update (Dec. 8, 2020) – The offer has now been doubled. You can get 50,000 bonus points (a $500 value) when you make $4,000 in qualified purchases in the first 90 days of account opening. Plus if you open your card in December the bonus will be doubled for a total of 100,000 bonus points ($1,000 value). You will get 50,000 bonus points at first and then a second 50,000 bonus points credit will post to your point balance within 15 business days following the first credit.
Original article (Mar. 26, 2020) – BBVA Select Credit Card has a new increased bonus that is worth $500. The card has a $99 annual fee that is also waived for the first year. The card also has good earning rates such as 4X points on entertainment, 3X points on dining.

This is a good cash bonus, but it does require you to spend a total of $4,000 within three months. One hassle is that you can’t apply online. You need to do so by visiting a branch or calling 1-844-BBVA USA during regular business hours.
