Atmos Rewards Increasing Partner Award Booking Fee
Bad news for Atmos Rewards members. The program will increase its partner award booking fee from $12.50 to $20 per person, each way beginning July 1, 2026. You can see the announcement here.
The fee applies when redeeming points for flights on partner airlines and is charged in addition to the standard taxes and fees on an award ticket. For a round-trip booking for two travelers, that means up to $80 in partner booking fees alone.
There is one notable exception. Holders of the Atmos Rewards Summit Card continue to receive a waiver of the partner award booking fee when paying taxes and fees with the card.

It’s never fun to see a fee increase, especially one that’s essentially a booking surcharge. Going from $12.50 to $20 each way won’t kill the value of most partner awards, but it definitely adds up for larger families or frequent travelers.
