Amex Membership Rewards Transfer to Hawaiian Airlines Not Working

🔃 Update (Sep 26, 2024) – Working again.
If you try to transfer American Express Membership Rewards to Hawaiian Airlines miles today, you will likely be unsuccessful. While it seems lie the transfers go through initially, the points are then returned soon after.
The errors started some time this afternoon, with the message “You are not eligible for this exchange. Please check the FAQ section for more details or contact your Loyalty provider.”
many people are trying to American Express Membership Rewards to Hawaiian Airlines miles so they can then transfer to Alaska MileagePlan at a 1:1 ratio.
This could be a temporary glitch, as some Amex reps are saying that this is an issue on the Hawaiian Airlines’ side.
