Amex Marriott Cardholders – Spend $7,500 to Earn 7,500 Bonus Points
American Express has a new offer for Marriott Bonvoy cardholders where you can earn extra points for your spending. The spending requirement is quite high, but if you plan on spending large amounts, then it’s worth keeping this offer in mind. Check out the details below.

Earn 7,500 bonus points after you spend $7,500 or more in combined eligible purchases on your Marriott Bonvoy™ American Express® Card, or from 6/15/2022 through 8/15/2022.
That’s in addition to the points you already earn for eligible purchases with your Card. No enrollment required. You can only earn a maximum of 7,500 bonus Marriott Bonvoy points. See offer here.
Offer Terms
- Purchases may fall outside of the Purchase Period in some cases, such as a delay in merchants submitting transactions to us or if the purchase date differs from the date you made the transaction
- Eligible purchases include purchases made by Basic Card Member and any Additional Card Members on a single Card account.
- Eligible purchases do NOT include fees or interest charges, cash advances, purchases of traveler’s checks, person-to-person payments, the purchase or reloading of prepaid cards, and purchases of other cash equivalents.
- Points received from your Card will be posted to your Marriott Bonvoy member account up to 12 weeks after the end of each month.

Not really a great offer for most people since Marriott Bonvoy points are not very valuable. But if you plan on putting a lot of spend in one of your American Express Marriott Bonvoy credit cards, then you can earn extra points. Just make sure to spend at least $7,500 by August 15th.
