Amex Everyday, Everyday Preferred and Cash Magnet No Longer Available
🔃 Update: American Express has confirmed via email that “Cash Magnet, Amex Everyday and Amex Everyday Preferred Cards are now closed to new applicants. Existing Cash Magnet, Amex Everyday and Amex Everyday Preferred Card Members can continue to use their Cards just as they do today with no changes.”
The American Express website no longer shows three credit card products, the Amex Everyday, Everyday Preferred and Cash Magnet. The same goes for referral links.
While these are not the most popular American Express cards, it is strange that they are no longer available for applications. The cards were just refreshed recently with a new design, but maybe a complete refresh is also coming soon?
One Amex rep says that these cards “aren’t available for new applications indefinitely” and they don’t know why. Could all three cards be discontinued?
The Amex Everyday card is the only personal credit card with no annual fee that let’s you keep your Membership Rewards points active.
