The Amex Blue Cash Preferred Card was updated with new bonus categories. It was also announced that the signup bonus would go up to $250 today, and it did. But through referrals, you can do even better. You can earn a $300 signup bonus, plus the referral bonus itself, which could be as high as 15K or 20K Membership rewards points, depending on which card you refer from.

American Express has a limit of one approved credit card every 5 days and two approved cards every 90 days. You can combine the application with a charge card though.
