I wrote two weeks ago about the new Whole Foods loyalty program that offers special discounts to Amazon Prime customers. The program will provide 10 percent off hundreds of sale items and rotating weekly specials such as $10 per pound off wild-caught halibut steaks. These savings were first released in all stores across Florida.
Now Amazon has expanded the program to more states. In a major move, the e-commerce giant rolled out discounts for Prime members at 121 Whole Foods Market stores across 12 states and Whole Foods Market 365 stores nationwide.
The program expansion started yesterday. Discounts are now available in Whole Foods stores mainly located in the Rocky Mountain and Southwest regions, including Arkansas, Colorado, Idaho, Kansas, Missouri, Louisiana, New Mexico, northern Nevada, northern California, Oklahoma, and its headquarter Texas. To enjoy the exclusive deals, customers need to use the Whole Foods app with their Amazon Prime account.
