Half-Price Amazon Prime for Govt Assistance Recipients and Income-Verified Customers
Prime Access is a discounted membership for qualifying government assistance recipients and income-verified customers that is half of the prime of a regular Prime membership.
With Prime Access, eligible members can pay just $6.99/month (normally $14.99/month) for a Prime membership. If you’re already a Prime member, you are eligible to switch to Prime Access as long as you qualify through one of the programs.
Other than the discounted monthly price, Prime Access gets you the exact same benefits of a regular Prime membership, like Prime Video entertainment and low prices on medications from Amazon Pharmacy.
How to Sign Up
To sign up, visit the Prime Access page. You’ll be directed to verify your income or upload a document confirming your eligibility to a selected government assistance program. Once you enter your payment and billing information, you’re all set to start using all Prime benefits.
If you’re already a Prime member, you can update your membership to Prime Access by visiting that same Prime Access page and uploading your eligibility verification. In order to keep your Access membership, you must reverify your eligibility every 12 months.
New Prime members receive a free 30-day trial before the $6.99 monthly charge begins.
You can also share many Prime benefits with others in your household, including fast, free delivery, digital content, and more through Amazon Family.
