Alaska and Hawaiian Combined Loyalty Program Launching Oct.1st

The new combined loyalty program for Alaska Airlines and Hawaiian Airlines will be unveiled next month, along with a new name. On Oct. 1, 2025, HawaiianMiles will fully transition into the new program.

Your miles and status will come along, too, and their values won’t change. The week before, member actions will be limited as they migrate accounts.

  • Your miles and status will retain their values as they move with you to the new program.
  • Hawaiian Airlines® World Elite Mastercard® card and benefits will continue without interruption.
  • HawaiianMiles account access will be limited the week before Oct. 1, 2025, as we migrate accounts.

Other important details:

  • You may continue to redeem miles for First Class/Business Class upgrades on Hawaiian Airlines operated flights through late September. In the combined loyalty program, upgrades with miles will be unavailable. However you may still redeem miles for a First Class ticket or pay for an upgrade.
  • The last day to redeem HawaiianMiles for Marriott Bonvoy points will be August 20, 2025. Once you’ve linked your HawaiianMiles account to Alaska Mileage Plan, you can continue to earn and transfer Mariott Bonvoy points to Mileage Plan miles.
  • When the combined loyalty program is launched, any Hawaiian miles you haven’t converted will be moved over for you.
  • The Hawaiian Airlines credit card will continue to function as it does today. There are no changes to the Hawaiian Airlines credit card program or your cardmember benefits, except that after Sept. 30, 2025, miles earned on the card will go to your new single loyalty account rather than to HawaiianMiles.
