Small business loans above $2 million will get full audit

According to guidance posted by the Small Business Association on April 23, borrowers must “certify in good faith” their loan request is “necessary.” Mnuchin said Tuesday he did not fault the banks that stewarded those loans, but, instead, the companies that applied for them that did not need.

Argentina Imposes Toughest Travel Ban in Americas, Sparking Outcry

While the country’s borders have been closed since March, the new decree goes further by banning until Sept. 1 the sale and purchase of commercial flights to, from or within Argentina. The decree, signed by the National Civil Aviation Administration, said it was “understood to be reasonable” to implement the restrictions, without elaborating.

N.Y.C. Deaths Reach 6 Times the Normal Level, Far More Than Coronavirus Count Suggests

More than 27,000 New Yorkers have died since the start of the novel coronavirus outbreak in March — 20,900 more than would be expected over this period and thousands more than have been captured by official coronavirus death statistics. As of Sunday, the city had attributed 16,673 deaths to coronavirus, either because people had tested positive for the virus, or because the circumstances of their death meant that city health officials believed the virus to be the most likely cause of death.

Alaska Airlines Donates Over One Million Meals

The airline announced it has donated more than one million meals to local food banks across the country. Alaska Airlines and the Alaska Airlines Foundation have given more than 896,000 meals through a donation of $200,000 to 14 local food banks. Last week, the Alaska Airlines Foundation also donated $315,000 to 23 nonprofits in AlaskaCaliforniaHawaiiOregon and Washington.

Six more potential symptoms of the novel coronavirus that causes COVID-19 have been added to the CDC’s list. They range from mild symptoms to severe illness, which can develop two to 14 days after exposure to the virus. They include:

  • Chills
  • Repeated shaking with chills
  • Muscle pain
  • Headache
  • Sore throat
  • New loss of taste or smell

Reporter wears a suit coat and no pants, not realizing everyone could see his legs

Reeve appeared Tuesday on “Good Morning America” for a segment about pharmacies using drones to deliver prescriptions to patients. But at one point, Reeve, who acts as his own cameraman as he broadcasts from home, was positioned so it was quite clear he was dressed in a suit jacket — but no pants.
