“Capital One Offers” for Savings at Select Merchants

Capital One has launched a new feature called Capital One Offers for its cardholders. This is in beta mode for now so it doesn’t show up for all customers, but a limited number of cardholders can find them online and in the app. These offers are similar to Amex Offers and Chase Offers that I often write about here on the site.

The way it works is that you will see an offer for a specific merchants such as JCPenney, Bloomingdale’s of Groupon for example. You add that offer to the card and then you can save by using your card at that specific merchant. The Capital One Offers that are showing up for now give you a 10% discount.

Here’s what these offers look like in the accounts that are targeted in the beta version:

Where to Find Capital One Offers

Capital One Offers are showing up in the app and on the desktop version of your account. In the app, after you log in, you can scroll all the way down to see them.

On your desktop, after you log in, you should see a button that says “Shop, Save, Earn” right under the header. It can be possible to see the offer on your desktop but not in the app, or vice versa. Worth checking both if you have Capital One cards.

Guru’s Wrap-up

Capital One has really come a long way to compete with other issuers. With Capital One Offers you now have similar options as Amex Offers or Chase Offers. The selection of offers is limited for now and everyone seems to have the same exact selection of merchants. Hopefully the offers improve in the future.

Please let me know if you see these offers in your account, and if you have used any of them.
