Hertz Offering Free Month Rental to NYC Healthcare Workers
While many business are closed, essential services are still open. The most difficult job during this coronavirus pandemic falls to healthcare workers. Many hospitals are underfunded and running out of supplies. But they are still continuing to do their dangerous jobs while the rest of us are self isolating.
Hertz is trying to help those workers in New York City a free, month-long vehicle rental through April 30. They can book for as little as a week or up to a month. To take advantage of the offer, you’ll need a valid medical ID, email address with healthcare domain, and driver’s license. See the promotion here.
Here’s how it works:
- Join Hertz Gold Plus Rewards® using your medical email address, if you’re not already a member.
- Log into Gold Plus Rewards and book business at one of the locations listed below.
- Answer our call. We will reach out to confirm your reservation details.
One-time rental subject to availability. Rental length is up to one month from date of pick-up and is valid until April 30. Applicable car classes include economy, compact, mid-size and full-size cars and compact, small and regular SUVs. Driver must present valid medical ID and driver’s license at reservation pick-up. Driver responsible for re-fueling, tolls, and any incurred damage.
A great gesture from Hertz. Normally driving to work in NYC is crazy, as a 20 minute commute can easily turn to 2 hours in rush hour. But right now streets are empty and avoiding buses and subways are a good idea.
