It had been a quiet period for a while there for those with Serve and Bluebird cards. I was shut down myself back in 2017, along with most others. That’s when we saw back to back shutdown. But after that, it was smooth sailing until May 2019. Now it seems there’s a new round of emails, telling people that their cards have been frozen.
Here’s the text of the email from previous shutdowns:

These prepaid cards were a great tool for credit card rewards, but many people have long been shutdown. It seems that Amex is still going after those with “unusual usage patterns”. Hopefully some of you are still able to use them.
Does anyone still have a functioning card?
