Starbucks to Offer Nationwide Deliveries with Uber Eats

Starbucks is looking to expand its delivery service nationwide by early 2020 by partnering exclusively with Uber Eats. The two companies first piloted the Starbucks Delivers program last fall in Miami, and have since expanded to 11 markets in the US.

Currently, Starbucks delivers via Uber Eats in Miami, Seattle, Boston, Chicago, New York, Washington, D.C., San Francisco, Los Angeles, Orange County, Houston and Dallas. The partnership enables customers to place orders via the Uber Eats app and track those orders in real time.

Because orders must be made through the Uber Eats app, Starbucks customers can’t yet earn reward points. If they want reward points, they’ll have to order through Starbucks’ own app for pickup. The focus on integration might soon mean that the two can be linked to one another.

Prior to the Uber Eats partnership, Starbucks had worked with Postmates to deliver food and drinks.

If you do not have an account, you can also use promo code eats-enIz2ue to get $5 off your first order. You can also get $5 off next 5 orders with this deal if you’re a current customer.
