Jet Airways Cancels All International Flights

Jet Airways cancelled all international flights until Monday when, according to BBC, it will meet its lenders again to try to secure funding. Jet Airways has already canceled thousands of domestic and international flights as planes were grounded over the non-payment of fees to aircraft leasing companies. Last month the company’s founder was forced to quit as part of a government-backed bailout.

Jet Airways has more than $1bn of debt. It is seeking a financial lifeline to avoid going out of business. Etihad already owns a 24% stake in Jet Airways.
