Capital One Venture Miles Can Now be Transferred to 14 Airline Partners

Starting today, Capital One Venture customers can transfer their rewards miles to over a dozen travel loyalty programs. Since Capital One announced the new miles transfer benefit last month, two new partner airlines have been added, Emirates and Singapore Airlines.

You can now transfer Venture miles to a total of 14 travel loyalty programs, including: Aeromexico (Club Premier), Air Canada (Aeroplan), Air France KLM (Flying Blue), Alitalia (MilleMiglia Program), Cathay Pacific (Asia Miles), Avianca (LifeMiles), Emirates (Emirates Skywards), Etihad Airways (Etihad Guest), EVA Air (Infinity MileageLands), Finnair (Finnair Plus), Hainan Airlines (Fortune Wings Club), Qantas (Qantas Frequent Flyer) and Qatar Airways (Privilege Club) and Singapore Airlines (KrisFlyer).

Cardholders already earn unlimited 2 Venture miles on every purchase, which can be redeemed on any travel expenses. Now you can also transfer those miles to most travel programs at a rate of 2 Venture miles to 1.5 airline miles, and to Emirates and Singapore Airlines at a ratio of 2 Venture miles to 1 airline mile. Along with Capital One Venture cardholders, this miles transfer benefit is also available for VentureOne, Spark Miles and Spark Miles Select cardholders.

Guru’s Wrap-Up

This should be a good opportunity to get more value for your Venture miles. I’m sure many people will look once again at Capital One bonuses now that their miles are transferable. The transfer rate is not great, but Capital One cards currently have some pretty good bonuses.
