WOW Fare Sale, 25% Discount on Select Routes

WOW Air is offering a 25% discount on select routes with discount code WOWSPRING.  Just pick your eligible round-trip flight dates at the start of the booking process, enter the WOWSPRING promo code. The discount will be visible in step 2 of the booking process. The 25% discount applies to base airfare only, not taxes and service fees. You can fly from from Boston, Pittsburgh, Chicago, New York JFK or San Francisco Valid to seven destinations when you book by March 4th, 2018.

  • The WOWSPRING promo code is valid for new online bookings on selected WOW air routes, when booking return flights within the travel dates listed in the offer.
  • When the promo code WOWSPRING is used a 25% discount off airfare (not taxes and service fees) will be automatically calculated for all passengers on selected flights.
  • To redeem the code you need to book a round-trip flight before 23:59 (GMT) March 4th, 2018, or until withdrawal.
  • Travel period is April 10th – June 10th, 2018.
  • Promo codes are not valid when booking a WOW Stopover.
  • Lowest advertised fare is exclusive to MyWOW members.

Fees

WOW Air charges for almost everything for their basic fares, so make sure you go over their list of fees before booking. You’re only allowed a free carry-on item (17x13x10 in./22 lbs), which is very very small. You’ll have to pay for a carry-on bag and checked luggage.

This promotion should yield some nice discounts, but not anywhere near 25% off since it only applies to base fares. And with cheap fares, base fare makes up a small portion usually. Don’t forget to use a credit card that will give you the most points, such as Amex Platinum (5x on airfare) or Chase Sapphire Reserve (3x on travel) or Citi Prestige (3x on airfare). You can also use travel credit from your Citi Prestige or the Chase Sapphire Reserve.
