Groupon has an offer for those who have never tried Groupon+ yet. You can get up to $10 back on your next meal when you sign up with your eligible Visa card. This offer is for new Groupon+ customers only, and it should work if you already have a Groupon account. Offer is available until 1/14/2018.
Groupon+ is more convenient to use for restaurants. You just load the offer and use your linked card and you receive an automatic statement credit, usually somewhere between 20-30% of your bill. I assume most people already have a Groupon account, but if you don’t you can get a signup bonus for that too.
Ends 1/14/2018. Limited quantities available. New Groupon+ users only. Limit one (1) statement credit per person, which will be the amount of the qualifying transaction, up to $10. A qualifying transaction is a purchase made with your eligible Visa card enrolled in Groupon+ at any sit down restaurant or quick service restaurant that isn’t otherwise excluded as described below. Cannot be combined with Groupon+ offers or transactions with a Groupon+ merchant. Transactions at Merchants that are not classified with a ‘restaurant code’ are not qualifying transactions. Some Merchants may be classified in a different merchant category than you would expect. For example, a restaurant or QSR in a hotel or large retail outlet may be classified with a ‘hotel’ or ‘retail store’ code instead of a ‘restaurant’ code and those transactions are not eligible. Groupon and Visa are not responsible for the business’ classification. Any earned statement credit will be credited to your card statement within a few days of your qualifying transaction.
