Amex Delta Gold 75K Offer Is Back, NO Lifetime Restriction (Targeted)

The 75K Amex Delta offer is back and again there’s no lifetime language on the application page or emails that some have received. This is the same offer that I posted back in November and it still has the same application link and expiration date of 1/24/18, but could be that more people are being targeted this time around. There’s also another version of the offer for a 50K bonus.

Offer Terms

  • Special offer expires on January 24, 2018
  • $0 introductory annual fee for the first year, then $95.

How To Get The Offer

The offer was sent by email, so you need to have been targeted in order to qualify. You can also check online and log in with your SkyMiles credentials, in case you have missed the email.

Amex Lifetime Rule

American Express restricts you to just one sign up bonus per credit card product. That’s once per lifetime. Even if you previously had the card and didn’t receive a bonus (maybe during your pre-churning days), you won’t be eligible for a bonus on the same card.

However these offers do not seem to have that language so that means that you are able to get the bonus even if you have had the card in the past.

Guru’s Wrap-Up

This is the best offer we have seen for the Amex Delta Gold card, but it is targeted. You get 75,000 SkyMiles once you spend $3,000 in six months ($2K in 3 months and $1K more within 6 months), which is a very reasonable spending requirement and amount of time to complete it. Any Delta purchase will trigger the $100 credit, which is usually posted right away even though terms say 8-12 weeks. Even if you get the lesser bonuses, it’s still worth going for them if you’ve had the card in the past since they don;t have lifetime restrictions. I would also suggest avoiding any MS with Amex cards since they’ve been getting tougher on those that game signup bonuses.
