Earn 10X At Walmart.com With Chase Pay, Not Targeted

I posted a week ago an offer to get 10% at Walmart.com when paying with a Chase card through Chase pay. The offer looked targeted, since only a few people received emails. But now it is confirmed that all personal Chase branded cards qualify for the offer, with no need to enroll.

As a reminder, here’s how it works:

  1. Shop online at Walmart.com and proceed to check out.
  2. On the “Enter Payment Method” page, click the “+More” button.
  3. If enrolled in Chase Pay, select the Chase Pay button and sign in with your chase.com username and password.
  4. You’ll automatically earn a total of 10 points per $1 spent (up to $250 in purchases). That’s 9 extra points in addition to the 1 point you always earn on purchases other than travel and dining.

Eligible Cards

  • Freedom
  • Freedom Unlimited
  • Sapphire
  • Sapphire Preferred
  • Sapphire Reserve

Guru’s Wrap-Up

This is a great offer that can be easily maximized even if you have a few of these cards and all cards qualify, without the need to enroll. You need to make your purchase online and gift cards are not excluded in the terms of the offer. You can possibly earn some portal cashback as well.

  1. Worked with no problem. First time trying Chase Pay and I’m liking it. Makes it really easy to use since you just use the same log in info from your chase account. No need to remember extra info.

  2. Chase pay is not working when you have both personal and business cards in same log in. The only way to fix it is to create separate log ins but to do it you need too call. That’s what they told me but a 30min call yesterday wasn’t enough. I have to call again today to talk to a tech specialist or something.

  3. The terms are clear, up to $250 in purchases. I wouldn’t go by what reps say and it’s always safer to test it out yourself with a small purchase.

  4. beware of Chase reps replying to queries about the cap whether it is $25 per card OR $250 per card. I received a reply from them via SM that it is UP to $250 cashback which means I can buy up to $2500 but from a lot of DPs I’ve read, they got only 10x on $250 of their purchase and the remaining balance got 1x.

Even if the reps are mistaken, I will NOT file a dispute if I do not get more than $25 cashback because I don’t want eyes on my account. I’ll just stick to $250 purchase per card.

  5. I can’t get Chase Pay to work. Apparently there is an issue when you have both business and personal cards on the same login. Anyone know of a workaround? Not sure I want to go to the trouble of calling and creating a separate login for just personal.

  6. oh nice! I did get an email for my freedom card, but not CSP. we should be able to get 2500 UR for each card right?
