Delta has a sale for summer travel to Europe from lots of US cities, Delta hubs and smaller cities included. There’s a few non-stop option for around $540 and many more one-stop flights available. There’s no deals from the Northeast though.
Here’s some of the non-stop fares available:
- Atlanta – Brussels $544
- Atlanta – Paris $566
- Atlanta – Stuttgart $582
- Cincinnati – Paris $572
- Pittsburgh – Paris $572
- Raleigh-Durham – Paris $572
- Salt Lake City – Amsterdam $538
- Salt Lake City – Milan $559
- Salt Lake City – Paris $572
- Seattle – Amsterdam $563
These might not last long, but you’ll have more options for one-stop flights. You can search for dates on Google Flights and then book directly on the Delta website.
These are good prices for summer travel and there’s option from smaller cities as well, which we don’t see often. Sure it’s not as cheap as what some low-cost carriers offer these days, but if you want to bring luggage along and have a better flying experience, then it’s worth it.
Don’t forget to use a credit card that will give you the most points, such as Amex Platinum (5x on airfare) or Chase Sapphire Reserve (3x on travel) or Citi Prestige (3x on airfare). You can also use travel credit from your Citi Prestige or the Chase Sapphire Reserve.
