An Even Better Offer For Amex Gold Delta, 60K Miles Plus $100 Credit

American Express is offering increased bonuses on most personal and business Delta credit cards. Now there’s an ever better bonus out there for the personal Gold Delta card. The bonus shows up when doing a dummy booking.

Amex Gold Delta bonus

Amex Gold Delta 60K plus $100 Offer

For a Limited Time: Earn 60,000 bonus miles after spending $3,000 in purchases on your new Card in your first 4 months† and a $100 statement credit after you make a Delta purchase with your new Card within your first 4 months.

Offer Terms

  • Special Offer Expires on 7/5/17.
  • $0 introductory annual fee for the first year, then $95.

How To Get The Offer

The offer shows up when doing a booking directly on the Delta website. A dummy booking is sufficient, meaning that you don’t have to actually book a flight. Just go up to the payment page and the offer should show up at the bottom. Check the ‘Yes I’d like to Apply’ box and you’ll be taken to the application page, showing the same offer.

Amex Lifetime Rule

American Express restricts you to just one sign up bonus per credit card product. That’s once per lifetime. Even if you previously had the card and didn’t receive a bonus (maybe during your pre-churning days), you won’t be eligible for a bonus on the same card.

Sometimes you’re able able to get a bonus again if you’ve had a card many years ago. & years could count as “lifetime”. But the best way to be check what cards you’ve had in the past, as per Amex, would be to just get a list of cards you have and had.

Guru’s Wrap-Up

This is the best offer we have seen. You get $50 more in statement compared to the increased offer that’s currently showing on the American Express website. Any Delta purchase will trigger the $100 credit, which is usually posted right away even though terms say 8-12 weeks. Just keep in mind that you don’t qualify for the bonus if you’ve previosuly had this card.
