The lawsuit alleges that the defendant, Seventh Generation, Inc., violated certain laws in labeling, marketing, and advertising of certain Seventh Generation Natural Products. The lawsuit claims that their products are not “all natural” and they contacin at least one or more of the following non-natural ingredients: benzisothiazolinone (‘BIT’), methylisothiazolinone (‘MIT’), laureth-6, sodium lauryl sulfate, lauramine oxide, sodium citrate, glycerin, and sodium hydroxide.
The Settlement Class includes all persons and entities who, from November 14, 2010 to October 12, 2016, both resided in the United States and purchased in the United States any of the SVG Products for their household use or personal consumption and not for resale.
The eligible SVG Products in the Settlement include certain Baby Care Products, Personal Care Products, Dishwashing Products, Laundry Products and Household Products. You can see a full list of products included in this settlement.
Please don’t file fraudulent claims. There were a few comments on another settlement post where people received emails asking for more information after their claims were flagged as fraudulent. Look through the list of eligible list of products and only file a claim if you’ve purchased any of them.
